Welcome to the Model Making page at MikesArts. Mike was indroduced to the local model shop by a friend, Mike remarked there were  beautiful ship models aeroplane models and train sets as well. The art work on the boxes were stunning This left a deep impression on him. In 2004 Mike entered the IPMS.  (International Plastic Modellers Society) competition for plastic modellers was held at the Michael Fowler Center, in Wellington.  "Even though I did not win, the experience was positive moving foward."
